Rest in Peace Deliah Miracle

Today we lost our sister Deliah to liver disease, she had stopped eating or drinking yesterday.
We knew her time was near, our house was full of both us and those that had already crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was surrounded by us, Momma and Nanna held her paws. Momma said a little prayer and asked God to make her whole and health again. Momma asked that the Sanctuary Guardians make the walk over the bridge with her. Our sister Lil D will be greatly missed she was loved beyond all measure.

Rest in Peace Little D!

Lucy Isabella

It is amazing where lifes journeys can take you sometimes, I had a family and a home once, but it was taken away in a flash. Next thing I knew I was sitting in a local shelter with time ticking down. I watched other dogs time run out, and before I knew it my time was up. I was scared my last night there I went to sleep and prayed I would be spared. My plea was answered I was saved! I now find myself in The Sanctuary and I am not afraid anymore.

So I have started a new chapter in my life, but I need you to help me! I want to start my life over with a new family and a home, but first I need you to adopt me. I know I am older but I am still young in spirit. See my long legs those are legs of a dancer or better yet a runner I can go on those long walks with you that you love so much.

I am a good listener and secret keeper; I want to be there to greet you when you come home each day. We can go on car rides together and explore the world and best of all we can do it all together. I want you to need me as much as I need you.

I have a lot going for me I am Heartworm negative, house and crate trained, I get along well with other dogs. I love to ride in the car and go for walks. I am also up to date on all my vaccinations and I speak 2 languages.

I speak Boston Terrier and Human English. I am learning how to use the computer and the internet. I love Facebook; I am kind of addicted to FarmVille. I just started learning to watch TV; I wish we had smell-a-vision when it comes to Food Network. Well I need to go my foster Momma is calling my name it is time for bed!

I look forward to meeting you!

My story told in my own way, I have a past but it is no longer important. What is important is our future together and how happy we can be. I want a home where I can run and play with a family that loves me for whom and what I am. I want a family that loves me no matter what I look like.

I have a funny little walk because of a neck injury that affected my spinal cord, can you overlook my disability to see the wonderful dog I am on in the inside. When I came to my foster home I did not even have a proper name, my foster Momma fixed that up fast. I was reborn Shelby MLynn, she calls me her little jalapeo for a nickname.

I do not let my disability affect my day to day life, I run and play just like a regular dog. I jump off the bed like the rest of the kids much to my foster Mommas displeasure. I would love to have a forever home where I am loved by my family beyond all measure; I just want to be yours! I am house trained and Heartworm negative and I am also crate trained.

I love to sleep on the bed with you at night I will keep you warm and save till the sun rises on a new day together. Cuddling on the couch to watch TV I will protect you during the scary parts on the movie, I will laugh when you laugh and cry when you cry.

I think we would make a good match, you and I. We can weather any storm the world can throw at us, you just have to adopt me! I will be here waiting patiently!

Love your little Jalapeo

Desperately Seeking You! Sometimes wacky, energetic and loveable Boston Terrier seeks likeminded family!

Hello my name is Guinness and I am pleased you have taken the time to click on my picture and read my adoption story. I am originally from North Carolina but recent family trouble finds me living in Virginia now. I am 9 years old and I am up to date on all vaccinations. I am housetrained and HeartWorm negative. I like to be fed in my crate, I will even sleep in there sometimes but I prefer to sleep with you so I can protect you. I love to hide under the blankets!

I love to go for walks and car rides, I love to lounge on the couch or bed I am a laid back kind of kid. I am currently on medication to help with my anxiety but I am doing great on it. I get my medication at night and it works all day long, and being on a daily exercise schedule helps as well. I go on a daily walk with my foster brother Hoss, he has become my best friend. I do not really like cats that much, but they can be tolerated. I do not really like baths or going out in the rain or snow but some gently encouragement helps me overcome it.

I have a funny little bark; my foster Momma says it reminds her of a wicked goat! I am unsure how she knows what a wicked goat sounds like but I am just going to roll with it. So I am going to go for now, I look forward to meeting you soon. If you have any questions please feel free to email my foster Mom Marlana.

Sincerely your new friend
